Italian luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) is expanding its NFT collection by collaborating with market NFT UNXD by Polygon.
An extension calledNFT Community DGFamily“, will use the UNXD platform as a gateway for DGFamily to access its exclusive line of luxury products through a pass called “DGFamily Box”.
D&G’s Twitter announcement came after D&G’s first debut with their first collection: Genesi Collection, last September. Collection inspired by Venice, it was the world’s first “haute couture NFT collection” which included nine works of art.
The most famous of the collection was “Doge Crown“, a digital artwork containing seven sapphires and 142 diamonds. The collection has been sold to private collectors for a total of over $5.5 million.and Doge Crown sold for over $1.2 million.
“DGFamily is an extension of how we’ve always worked, but extended digitally,” a D&G executive said in a recent Twitter Spaces.
