IDT Corp. on Monday said it acquired Leaf Global Fintech Corp., a provider of digital wallet services.
Leaf provides services in Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya to unbanked customers, IDT said. The Leaf Wallet is available on smartphones, non-smartphones and other mobile devices and allows customers to store, send, receive and exchange currencies on their phones domestically and across borders, IDT said.
The Leaf app is available on the app store and Google Play, according to IDT.
